My name is Robert Ricks and I am a current student at Louisiana State University where I am a English major with plans to pursue a career in Sports Journalism. The Dollars And Sense Sports Blog was started in 2018 as not only an expression of sports passion but also as a means of education for new sports fans and advanced sports fans alike. I have been watching sports since the age of 5 and my favorite sports teams include the Jacksonville Jaguars (football) Texas Rangers(baseball) Newcastle United (soccer) Detroit Red Wings(hockey) and the Chicago Bulls (basketball).
