Good evening everyone, it’s time for almost everyone’s favorite section Easy Money! More picks will be coming today and D.A.S. Sports will be switching things up a bit tonight. Tonight we will be throwing out four picks instead of three and we will add some college flavor to the mix. Per usual, point spread rules apply today and those numbers will be crunching and calculating…sort of. On another note The D.A.S. Blog is sitting at a hot 4-2 on the season in picks. Here’s hoping you guys picked the four and not the two.
Sacramento Kings vs. Brooklyn Nets (BKN -2.5) (D.A.S. Blog Pick: Brooklyn Nets)
Oh let’s have some fun shall we? If you really value your money stay far away from this pick. But if you want to be a little frisky tonight, let’s entertain this…..opportunity. The Nets average almost 7 points per game more than the Kings on the season so there is evidence of a sleeping offense waiting to be awoken. The Kings also have a few injuries in Garrett Temple and improving rookie Skal Labissiere. This will be an awful game to watch but we love some Spencer Dinwiddie. Take the Nets in this non-defensive, field-goal percentage nightmare of a game.
Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Portland Trail Blazers (POR -5.0)(D.A.S. Blog Pick: Minnesota Timberwolves)
Unlike the aforementioned game above, this game should be relatively nice to watch. The Wolves even without Jimmy Butler should provide a great road challenge to a very hot Portland team with five 100+ point games in their last five game including a 123 point game. If the Timberwolves focus on their strong frontcourt of Karl-Anthony Towns and Taj Gibson, they should win this game. Howl at the moon with your winnings and roll with the pack of Timberwolves.
Cincinnati Bearcats vs. Tulane Green Wave (CIN -13.0)(D.A.S. Blog Pick: Tulane Green Wave)
To be frank, Tulane probably won’t win this game even at home but we can see them covering the spread at least. Single digit losses in three of five games is something to least consider in this one with one of them being against an always solid Wichita State team. This is more on gut than logic but the 10th ranked Cincinnati haven’t appeared as dominant as they should in these big games. Catch “The Wave” of dollars coming your way. We’re taking Tulane in this one.
Stanford Cardinal vs. Arizona Wildcats (ARI -11.5)(D.A.S. Blog Pick: Stanford)
Continuing the theme of “beating the spread”, Dollars And Sense are going with Stanford to possibly upset the Wildcats. Stanford is on a three-game winning streak and have either won or lost by single digits in three of the last five games. This is a big time conference game with possible seeding implications for The Cardinal. Off-the-court drama aside, Arizona still has DeAndre Ayton on the floor who is possibly the Player of the Year. Still, it’s not enough to sway us from the largely disrespectful point spread that has been given for the Wildcats. Stanford is a great medical school, so don’t have a heart attack from all those winnings. Take The Cardinal in this Pac-12 showdown.
As always, Happy Winnings..and lend us a couple of bucks if you can.
